Building on the foundation laid by our 2023 partners, this incredible new cohort represents a diverse range of communities and causes all over the world, embodying innovation, radical resilience and a shared commitment to advancing a more equitable and sustainable future. Their work reflects the vibrant spirit of collaboration and vision that YCJF strives to champion, fostering solutions rooted in community power.
This new cohort is the result of a decision-making process grounded in collaboration and built on a participatory approach that allows us to identify the most promising, community-driven initiatives. It has been designed and built by young, extraordinary leaders who are not only passionate about creating change but are also committed to learning and growing in their efforts to develop solutions that truly reflect the needs of their communities. We’re thrilled to share that this year, we have tripled our global support compared to 2023, further expanding our ability to empower these remarkable leaders and their initiatives with grants ranging from $15,000 to $20,000. In February 2025, we will announce the list of regional and international grantee partners selected in 2024.
From advancing sustainable behavior and green jobs to promoting community empowerment and equitable climate action, these leaders play a vital role in addressing the intersectional and urgent challenges of our time —bound together by a shared commitment to youth leadership focused on those who are most impacted by the socio environmental crisis.

Through our participatory grantmaking process, we selected 58 grantee partners from historically marginalized and underrepresented parts around the world, each dedicated to driving change on key socio environmental issues.
