As we face urgent and interconnected challenges of our time, we’ve expanded our focus to support new and diverse youth movements.

Building on our strong foundation of supporting youth-led solutions at the intersection of climate and environmental issues, we’re thrilled to extend our support to dynamic regional and international groups— especially to those that had not been working on climate and environmental issues before. This inclusive approach is unlocking exciting, innovative opportunities for change.

We recognize the incredible organizing power of youth, which is why we’re doubling down on empowering these dynamic groups that have long been overlooked due to resource constraints. To fuel their efforts, we’re rolling out our first two-year grants, ranging from $50K to $80K, marking a daring commitment to energize grassroots mobilization for a sustainable, equitable future.

Our cohort of Regional and International Grantee Partners is spearheading change beyond boundaries and collaborating across diverse communities and causes. They are creating innovative, intersectional solutions that tackle urgent global challenges and contribute to a connected, unified movement for justice and sustainability.

Resource Allocation Overview 💵

Through our participatory grantmaking process, we’ve proudly selected 12 grantee partners working at regional and international levels from diverse communities worldwide, all driving impactful change on pressing and timely issues.

These partners come together around these objectives:

  • Understanding contexts and networks: Gaining deeper insights into how partners' work intersects with climate and socio-environmental justice to maximize impact.
  • Exploring collaboration opportunities: Identifying ways for regional and international groups to strengthen grassroots efforts across various youth constituencies.
  • Supporting growth and knowledge sharing: By leveraging our partners' expertise, we aim to create valuable learning opportunities throughout our ecosystem and identify additional groups with whom we can collaborate.
  • Assessing impact: Collaboratively evaluating investment strategies to pinpoint where resources are most needed and can have the greatest impact, shaping our future initiatives.

  • Commitment to learning: Partners open to a collaborative learning journey, sharing insights to inform future strategies.

Why Fund Non-immediate Climate Sphere Work? 🌍

Climate justice action doesn’t exist in isolation.

Communities facing socio-environmental challenges are also navigating systemic injustices like economic disparities, gender exclusion, and lack of access to education or resources. Addressing these root causes strengthens the foundation for sustainable, community-driven solutions.

Some of the groups we support bring diverse perspectives and approaches that, while not always explicitly climate-focused or entirely youth-led, are essential in advancing climate and socio-environmental justice on regional and international scales.

By expanding our reach to intersecting movements, we are creating spaces for collaboration, testing new ideas, and fostering co-learning—ensuring both immediate impact and long-term capacity-building.
